Robert Wood is a poet. He is interested in dream, enlightenment, nature, suburbs and philosophy. Robert is a Malayali with connections to the East Indian Ocean. He lives on Noongar country in Australia.

Robert is currently the Creative Director of the Centre for Stories and the Chair of PEN Perth. He previously worked in universities, for the literary and publishing sector, as a union organiser, for Indigenous corporations, as a census supervisor, and in hospitality. He has volunteered for pacifist groups, community gardens, environmental organisations, refugee kitchens, and educational non-profits. 

Robert’s archive is housed at the Kislak Centre for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts in Philadelphia. 
In his spare time, Robert likes to crayfish, cook and scrapbook.
