Robert Wood is a poet. He is interested in dream, enlightenment, nature, suburbs and philosophy. Robert is a Malayali with connections to the East Indian Ocean. He lives on Noongar country in Australia.

Robert is currently the Creative Director of the Centre for Stories and the Chair of PEN Perth. His previous postions include: Endeavour Research Fellow, Columbia University; Benjamin Franklin Fellow, University of Pennsylvania; Faculty, The School of Life; Commissioning Editor, Cordite; Politics Editor, Peril; Emerging Critic, Sydney Review of Books; and, Editorial Intern, Overland. Robert’s archive is housed at the Kislak Centre for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts in Philadelphia.
